Description

NC Engineering offers a range of dribble bar slurry applicators in three working widths — 7.6m, 9m, and 12m — designed to reduce ammonia emissions and improve nitrogen efficiency compared to conventional splash plate spreading. With over 30 years of experience manufacturing slurry applicators, NC Engineering has developed a dribble bar range that balances low-emission performance with practical on-farm durability.

All models feature arms that slope slightly upward in the working position to ensure optimal performance on all slopes, large-diameter pivot pins to minimise wear, LED indicators, high-tensile steel construction to save weight, a stone and debris trap, and parking stands. The 7.6m model uses spring breakback on the outer arms; the 9m and 12m models use hydraulic auto-reset breakback for faster recovery after striking obstructions.

All NC dribble bar models are fitted with an Alrena precision macerator featuring self-sharpening rotating knives with off-centre pivot design, a 40% larger air passage than traditional macerators via a hollow shaft, balanced rotor design, and automatically tensioning spiral springs — reducing maintenance and power consumption while delivering consistent slurry flow.
