Description

NC Engineering was one of the first manufacturers in Ireland to pioneer trailing shoe slurry applicators on tankers, starting in 1992. The current range is available in three working widths — 7.5m, 10.5m, and 12m — and is designed to place slurry directly between grass swards, achieving the lowest possible surface emissions and the most efficient nutrient delivery per unit of slurry applied.

All models feature a forklift-style mast mounting that keeps weight transfer and tail swing to a minimum, over-centre hydraulic valves for smooth and safe folding, arms that fold past vertical for road transport with the outer arm folding hydraulically for reduced height, LED stop and tail indicators, and parking stands. High-tensile steel construction minimises weight and ground compaction throughout the working width.

Individually spring-mounted outlets ensure consistent shoe-to-ground contact across uneven ground, and large-diameter pivot pins minimise wear at all folding points. A stone and debris trap is positioned below the Alrena precision macerator, which features self-sharpening rotating knives and a hollow-shaft design for reduced power consumption and blockage risk.
