Description

Kverneland offers a comprehensive range of mounted packers designed for use behind ploughs to consolidate soil and improve seedbed conditions immediately after primary tillage. Four models are available — the FP front packer, SP single packer, DP double packer, and TP turnaround packer — covering working widths from 3.0m to 6.0m across Cat. II and Cat. III linkage specifications.

The DP double packer combines front and rear packer rings for more intensive soil consolidation, which can reduce or eliminate the need for a separate seedbed preparation pass before drilling. The TP turnaround packer adds a crumble roller to the SP, combining the pressing action of a packer ring with a crumbling action to break down larger soil clods — delivering improved seedbed conditions in a single pass.

All Kverneland packers are designed to work efficiently in combination with the full range of Kverneland reversible and conventional ploughs, with linkage configurations matched to the company’s standard frame widths.
