Description

The Kverneland a-drill is a pneumatic cover crop and fertiliser seeder designed for quick and efficient establishment of cover crops, catch crops, and undersown mixtures. Available in 200-litre and 500-litre hopper capacities, the a-drill can be mounted on tillage implements, power harrows, or cultivators to allow cover crop seeding in the same pass as primary cultivation — maximising establishment timing without an additional field operation.

The a-drill is compatible with a wide range of seed types and mixtures, from fine grass seeds and legumes to larger cereal seeds — making it versatile enough to handle both simple bi-crop mixes and complex multi-species cover crop programmes. The metering system is designed for consistent output across variable seed sizes without requiring recalibration between crop types.

Cover crops sown with the a-drill establish quickly because they are incorporated directly into the cultivated seedbed in the same pass as primary tillage, minimising the window between cultivation and seeding.
