Trailed Tedders

Description

Kverneland’s trailed tedder range provides the extended working width and high output required by grass contractors and larger farming operations, covering working widths from 11.2m (8590C) up to 15.6m (85156C). All models feature a transport running gear system that allows the tedder to be towed at road speed between fields, eliminating the need for a separate trailer or heavy rear linkage capacity on the tractor.

The trailed design distributes machine weight across its own axle and the tractor three-point linkage, reducing the rear axle load compared to a fully mounted tedder of the same working width — important for larger machines where rear linkage capacity might otherwise be a limiting factor. The tedder folds hydraulically to a compact transport width and height for safe road use.

Like the mounted range, all Kverneland trailed tedders use individually sprung rotors with a floating hitch for accurate ground following, maintaining consistent tine-to-ground clearance across undulating pasture throughout the full working width.
