Front Mounted Sprayers

Description

Kverneland’s front-mounted spray equipment range includes two models — the iXtra LiFe and the iXtra — designed to work in combination with the iXter B rear-mounted sprayer, enabling a combined on-board capacity of up to 2,800 litres in a balanced front-and-rear configuration. The iXtra LiFe is a standalone front tank capable of functioning as a universal row-crop sprayer in its own right, while the standard iXtra is primarily a supplement tank paired with the rear unit.

Pairing front and rear spray tanks distributes the total solution weight more evenly across both tractor axles — reducing soil compaction compared to a large rear-only tank, and improving operator comfort and tractor handling throughout the spray operation. Both models are compatible with most tractor sizes and three-point linkage configurations, and include their own agitation system for the front tank contents.

The iXtra LiFe front tank is equipped with its own boom, pump, and controls, allowing independent operation as a standalone sprayer without the iXter B rear unit — making it a flexible option for farms that need front-spray capability for banded herbicide application or row-crop work.
